Lessons in Creating Awesome
Today I’m working on getting a “Passion Presentation” together for a conference I’ll be speaking at March 14th. The title of my presentation is “Passion: Leading Students Back into Themselves” and one of the big ideas I’m trying to convey is this:
In order for students to be successful today they must learn to engage their personal passions. By doing this, they stand out; they become a one of a kind original that can not be replaced and have a sense of what true authentic success means for them.
When only 25% of graduating students have jobs in hand at the time of graduation, we have to wonder what is happening to the other 75%.
In the global marketplace we live in today, graduating with a four year degree no longer guarantees the opportunity for a career. So what’s the difference maker?
